Meet Our Team

Our Veterinarians:

Sam Tetterton, DVM - Owner

  - Dr. Tetterton is a graduate from the University of Georgia.  He purchased Dr. Cindi Prestage's sport horse aspect of her clinic and founded Palmetto Equine Clinic. Dr. Tetterton now specializes in equine lameness and sports medicine.

Sally Iseman, DVM - Associate

  - Dr. Iseman joined our team in May of 2014.  She is a graduate of the University of Georgia and came to us after working for several years in Maryland.  Dr. Iseman is originally from this area where she grew up riding ponies in the hunter show ring and foxhunting.

Cindi Prestage, DVM - Associate

 - Dr. Prestage received a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science at North Carolina State University and completed a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University.  Following veterinary school, she completed an equine internship at the University of California at Davis.  She and her husband Ron, returned to the Carolinas and founded Prestage Equine Clinic.  The practice grew into a multiple veterinarian practice with an emphasis on reproduction, sport horse medicine/surgery, and general equine medicine.  After 17 years, Dr. Prestage “relinquished the reins” of the sport horse aspect of the practice and it became Palmetto Equine Clinic.  She decided to focus on the breeding aspect of the practice.  She enjoys working with the challenging reproductive cases and the foals.  She continues to work with Palmetto Equine Clinic especially during the nonbreeding season.

She has served on several boards in the veterinary and equine community.

In her spare time, she enjoys her lifelong passion of riding and competing horses.

Testimonials

Read What Our Clients Say

  • "Vets and staff are beyond measure in quality, dedicaton, and horsemanship. They have been there for me for everything over the years. From breeding, foaling, lameness diagnosis, rehabilitation, several 911 emergencies, to traveling to a show for either pre-purchase on the spot, or watch my horse go who "just isn't right", always behind me 100%. Truly the Best."
